I had Emacs installed for some time now in my MAC and I like it a lot so, it makes you take the conclusion that I don't like VIM, which is also kinda true.
I was seeing some videos when I saw a guy using a text editor similar to Emacs but with a nice, clean and "machix" interface.
Then, I searched the web and eventualy found Aquamacs! The interface is nice and clean ( as I said before ), the menus are better and still, it keeps the Emacs feel and functionality!
You should try it if you liked Emacs ( if you like VIM, you shouldn't be reading this :D ), go to http://aquamacs.org/ for download and documentation. The download link may also be found on my "Download" section at the top right of the page.
